From May 15th to 17th 2018, the 1st Advisory Committee Meeting of the "National Center for International Research on Structural Health Management of Critical Components” & the International Workshop on Structural Health Management 2018 were held in our school.

Professor Luo hosted the opening ceremony, and Present Yan Xiaohong gave the welcoming speech as well as rewarded the members of the research group. During this meeting, the members discussed the report from Professor Luo, and agreed on the report of the National Center for International Research on Structural Health Management of Critical Components. Some important suggestions and comments were given by the professors which contributed to the development of the National Center and the intense cooperation of different research groups.
The International Workshop on Structural Health Management 2018 was also held during this meeting. Eight professors gave brilliant presentations and communicated with audience during the workshop. The report covered many important and hot topics of the SHM research field. Students from Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, School of Material Science & Engineering, Faculty of Science, School of Mechanics Engineering and School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering attended the International workshop and learned a lot from the professors.
The 1st Advisory Committee Meeting of the "National Center for International Research on Structural Health Management of Critical Components" & Mini-Workshop on Structural Health Management 2018 invites internationally renowned experts and scholars to participate in high-level exchanges and cooperation in the field of structural health management. This meeting expanded our university's influence in the field of international structural health management, opened up the international perspectives and academic ideas of researchers in related fields of our university, and further promoted the construction of the “National Center for International Research on Structural Health Management of Critical Components ".
