During Nov.7th - 9th, Prof. Ying Luo and Dr. Kan Feng attended the 2016 Machinery Industry Science and Technology Conference in Beijing. The conference which was sponsored by China Machinery Industry Federation aimed to retrospect the work of science of mechanical industry.

During the conference, chairman of China Machinery Industry Federation Ruixiang Wang made a report on “Based on the overall situation, focus on the key problem, and make the machinery industry develop strongly by technology innovation”.

As the director of Key Laboratory of Mechanical Structure Damage Detection Technology, Prof. Ying Luo awarded the title of “scientific and technological innovation leader”. At the same time, Mechanical Structure Damage Detection Technology laboratory was rated as excellent key laboratory.
