On May 19th, prof. Huirong Le from University of Derby paid a visit tour faculty and gave a lecture with the title of "Recent Research Progress on Surface Coatings and Composite". The report was host by associate prof. Jianguo Zhu, director of the department of Mechanics and engineering science.
Prof. Le started the lecture with the introduction to University of Derby and expressed warm welcome to the students who are interested in pursuing master's degree and doctor’s degree in Derby. He also presented his latest research progress in fiber-reinforced composites, nanocomposites, surface coating technology and other aspects. During the lecture, students consulted Prof. Le about preferential policies of studying in Durby and some teachers asked questions that they were interested in the lecture.After the meeting, Prof. Le visited our faculty and laboratories.
