Recently, Engineering site II of the fifth Sino-Foreign graduate student forum was successfully held by our faculty and other four colleges. This forum invited many famous professors of our university to exchange views or give suggestions in scientific research. More than 200 students presentative attended this opening ceremony.

Firstly, our deputy dean Prof. Jianfei Lu opened the speech with congratulating the beginning of this forum and showed welcome to the foreign students and expressed his hope for this forum.Secondly, associate prof. Zhang Huijie made a verbal report with the title ofGas bubbles wall in landfill bottom linerswhich set an example for graduates. He also encouraged students to put forward questions logistically which can develop their sense of science and open their minds.

Then, the students who attended this forum showed the report presentation perfectly which were based on their interests and specialty. All the competitors showed the reports with unique features. Judges evaluated competitors’ reports professionally and raised lots of questions which extended students’ thinking. The students who attended the forum got great benefits to their further scientific research.
