On the evening of Oct. 24th, Jiangsu University hosted a chorus competition to commemorate the China people's Anti-Japanese War and the 70 anniversary of the victory of the world anti-fascist war in the gymnasium. Our team which is made of lots of teachers and students from Zhi Yuan chorus took part in this competition.

Our song "Tian Lu" won applause from the audience. With their passionate singing, majestic performance and enthusiasm, they won the praise of professional judges and the fourth place with 97.32 point,standing out in 30 excellent teams and getting the first prize.

Before the competition started, much attention had been paid to it, with 102 students and teachers cooperating together, paying and hard training. During basic vocal training, singing and arrangement, they corrected pronunciation and communicated with each other. Choir members were all using their spare time to practice. Though it was hard, it was full of fun. For the final perfect performance, they have made a great effort.

Thanks our conductor Chenhai Guo and Hong Zhang’s great help, and also thanks our members’ hard work. It is an unforgettable exciting experience.
