On the morning of April12th, Dr. Zhu, director of the department of Mechanics andEngineering Science, was invited to give a lecture entitled “Mechanics is around us” to the teachers and students in Jingjiang No.1 High School. By citing various authorities from life, production andother fields, Dr. Zhu explained profound theories about mechanics around us insimple words. His wonderful lecture not only broadened the horizon of thestudents, but also improved their cognitive ability and stimulated their passion to pursuit science and knowledge.
