On March 17, the ”Zhiyuan” academic salon was held by our faculty for the first time of this semester.

Our deputy dean, Prof. Jianfei Lu hosted the salon. Prof. Daiheng Chen, from Tokyo University of Science, was invited to deliver a lecture for our teachers. Dr. Bo Su and Dr. Fan Yang were als oinvited to give a academic report. All the teachers and some graduate students listened the lectures.

Firstly, Prof. Daiheng Chen introduced his education and work experience and scientific research in different phases. Then Dr. Su shared his overseas study experiences in Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne in USA. After that, Dr. Yang gave a report on “Attenuation Relation of Earthquake Parameters’.
