Prof. Feng Xing, who awarded “China National Funds for DistinguishedYoung Scientists” from Shenzhen University, was offered part-time professor by Jiangsu University and invited to give us a lecture with the topic of “Damage Test and Assessment of Durability on Concrete Structure” on Dec.3, 2013.

Vice president Long Chen of Jiangsu University presented the lecture and issued the “part-time professor certificate” to Prof. Feng Xing personally. Dean. Prof. Ying Luo hosted the lecture. Firstly, Prof. Feng Xing briefly introduced his research group and fields. Then he explained his recent research achievements in the aspects of phosphoaluminate-portland clinkers, inorganic resin matrix composites and self - compacting concrete and concluded that the new materials and technique are significantly important in the improvement of structure durability and the prolongation of structure life. After the lecture, many teachers and students exchanged their academic ideas with Prof. Feng Xing.
