On May 31, 2023, the faculty party branch of institute of structural health management of the College of civil Engineering and Mechanics, together with the second party branch of Zhenjiang Branch of Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute of Jiangsu Province and the equipment security party branch of Zhenjiang Jiangnan Chemical Industry. Zhu Jianguo, president of Structural Health Management Research Institute, and Zhuo Lijun, secretary of the party branch, Gong Zhilin, vice president of Zhenjiang Branch of Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute of Jiangsu Province, and Xiong Weijiong, secretary of the second party branch, Wang Shun, general manager of Zhenjiang Jiangnan Chemical Industry Company, Wu Zhiliang, vice general manager, and Fan Baoqi, director of the silicone plant, and other relevant personnel participated in the activity.
Led by Wu Zhiliang, vice general manager, the two sides first visited Jiangnan Chemical Organosilicon Plant, and carried out field visits and in-depth discussions on the technical issues related to the securityh monitoring of large liquid spherical tanks.
Subsequently, the three parties carried out an exchange seminar. At the meeting, Wu Zhiliang, Vice General Manager, introduced the business scope, development history of enterprise transformation and upgrading of Zhenjiang Jiangnan Chemical Company, and focused on the world's first chlorine-silicon-phosphorus three-element green recycling technology, which was awarded the Second Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress.
Vice President Gong Zhilin focused on the technical difficulties in safety inspection of pressure vessels and pressure pipelines and other pressurized special equipment, and proposed how to carry out scientific research within the scope of national regulations and standards to solve the problems of security monitoring of the equipment in the non-stop state, including how to detect the inherent defects of the equipment and defects with weld cracks, internal corrosion and other defects in the production.
President Zhu Jianguo introduced the technical expertise and hardware configuration of Structural Health Management Research Institute of Jiangsu University, emphasized the need for enterprises and inspection departments to put forward the demand, follow up the research and technical exchanges on the issue, to carry out close cooperation, and work together to solve the problem, and to help the development of special equipment safety inspection technology.
