In order to further deepen and implement the thematic education of Xi Jinping though on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. On the afternoon of June 21st, the faculty and staff branch of the Institute of Structural Health Management held a special party lesson on "Leading high-quality development of universities and colleges with new development philosophy and ways " in the 414 conference room of Leisi building, which was given by Zhu Jianguo, the director of the Institute. The lecture was given by Zhu Jianguo, president of the institute, all the institution members of the faculty and staff attended.

         President Zhu Jianguo explained the main connotation of the new development philosophy , in order to achieve the high-quality development of universities, it is necessary to adhere to the "four orientations", consciously take up the mission of a high-level research university, help to achieve sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening at high levels, strengthen basic research, and constantly contribute to the power of JiangSu university for the construction of Chinese modernization. He also pointed out that in the process of achieving high-quality development, the Institute should be firm in ideals and beliefs, continue to learn, take the initiative to take responsibility, get achievements, pursue truth and be practical.

        After the party lesson, President Zhu Jianguo and the party branch members have in-depth exchanges and discussions of the feedback given by school for the end of the year assessment. Proposed the developments in the project application, cultivation and introduction of talents ,international cooperation and other aspects, and to further inspire the majority of teachers and members of the party to strengthen the ideals, clarify the goals, planning for the future, and take the initiative to take responsibility.
