The Chinese Congress Of Theoretical And Applied Mechanics（CCTAM•2019）was held in Hangzhou International Expo Center from Aug. 25th to 28th. The CCTAM was hosted by The Chinese Society Of Theoretical And Applied Mechanics and Zhejiang University. The conference focused on the latest research progress and achievements in various sub-disciplines of mechanics, including solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, dynamics and control, and cross-mechanics.

CCTAM2019 invited Academician Du Shanyi, Academician Fang Daining, Academician Guo Wanlin, Prof. Feng Xue, etc. to give an invited report on frontier and review of mechanics. The relevant professional committee in each branch session invited domestic and foreign experts in the field of this discipline to make the invitation report. There were 23 sub-conferences and 95 seminars in CCTAM2019.

There are 10 students and teachers in total submit for publication and made a report, which fully demonstrates the latest research results of various research teams in the discipline of mechanics in our faculty. This conference promoted the cooperation between our discipline and experts in various fields and expanded the influence of our faculty domestic and overseas.
