At 2pm on March 24th, a learning exchange meeting on the major of Engineering Mechanics was successfully held in the conference room 205. The meeting invited Dean Prof. Ying Luo to give students a speech, and the instructor Xu and all the freshmen in the major of engineering mechanics were present.
Firstly, Mr. Xu made the brief introduction about the arrangement of the meeting. Then, students made discussion some issues about their living and learning during the first half academic year. Finally, Dean Prof. Luo made a summary speech. He combined his own experiences to give students many useful suggestions that the final goal of learning in college was not for a diploma but for growing to a talent needed by the society.
Through this communication, not only did the students learn about how to live well in college, but also cleared the direction of future study to lay a good foundation for achieving better scores.
