At noon of March 1st, our faculty held mobilization meeting on overseas study exchange in conference room 210. All members of overseas exchange association and some outstanding student representatives attended meeting.
At first, instructor Jiang introduced the condition about the grade of IELTS and TOEFL and studying abroad. She emphasized the importance of taking the exams of IELTS and TOEFL. Then, instructor Xu introduced the programs of studying abroad in detailed. After that, Vice Chairman of Faculty Affairs Committee Quan Chen, combining the theme and other teachers’ speech, fully approved for students’ enthusiasm. He said that the present situation and development prospect of civil engineering put forward higher requirements to students and being international was the development trend. So, he encouraged every student to prepare English exams earlier.
