On the morning of Sep. 9, Our faculty held an education lecture for freshmen entitled “To be the real master in university” in Room 202 of Jiangtangqun, which was hostedby associate prof. Quan Chen, deputy dean of our faculty.

At the beginning, Mr. Chen expressed the warm welcome to our new students. Then, he started the lecture from four aspects:why we need to go to university, why we chose Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, what we want to learn and what we can learn. Mr. Chen’s but stern but meaningful speaking influenced every new student present and gavethem plenty of thought.
