In order to enrich the students’ campus life and cultivate their interestin learning English, our faculty held “Word Show” English Contest on Nov15th at 6 pm. The activity lasted nearly two hours and achieved good results.

The activity was divided into four parts: "First impression", "Flash memory Competition," "Word Solitaire" and "Impression breakthrough." After a brief description of the rules and dividing participants into groups, the contest started. The first part requires the participants introduce themselves in English about their hobbies and hometown. In the next "Flash Memory"phase, Hui Chen performed very well and remembered 11 words in just 30 seconds, winning applause from students.

This activity offered an excellent chance for students to learn English with fun and stimulate them to put English into real use, which will also promote a good atmosphere for English learning.
