At the meeting, Bi Qinsheng reported the status quo, the 14th five-year plan, current work and problems of the faculty. Luo Ying reported the progress of the International Joint Center. Zhu Jianguo reported the latest development of mechanics how to support agricultural machinery science and technology. Lastly, the functional departments give guidance and suggestions to the problems in the development of the faculty.

After listening to the report, president Yan Xiaohong gave full affirmation to the achievements made in the ten years since the establishment of the faculty. At the same time, He put forward four specific requirements for us: Firstly, to make breakthroughs in talent and team building; Secondly, to optimize the personnel training system, find the correct direction; Thirdly, to give full play to the role of the existing national and provincial platforms; Fourthly , we need to strengthen connotation construction.
