Pu Yanru was awarded the title of "2021 Outstanding Graduate of China Civil Engineering Society". The "Outstanding Graduate Award of China Civil Engineering Society" was established by China Civil Engineering Society in 1989. Each year, it only awards not more than 50 outstanding graduates with the major of civil engineering (including engineering management).

She was recommended for admission to pursue master degree of Southeast University.
