On Dec.29th, 2018, Dr. Zhang Yingyan from Western Sydney University was invited to make an academic report entitled "Heat Conduction in Graphene-Polymer Nanocomposite".

In the report, Dr. Zhang mainly shared the interface heat transfer characteristics of graphene-polymer nanocomposites and their applications in high-performance electronic devices, and a new method for chiral screening of black phosphorus. Using the strong anisotropic mechanical properties of black phosphorus nano-strips, Dr. Zhang proposed a new high-efficiency chiral screening method based on bending stiffness, which immediately attracted the attention of the international academic community.
This report not only provided an opportunity for academic exchanges for teachers and students but also guided the direction for students in the relevant research fields.
