On Nov. 7th-11th, the 12th National Structural Design Competition for College Students was held in South China University of Technology. Our team won the second prize and Jiangsu University won the excellent organization award.
In this competition, 108 teams from 107 universities including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Tongji University and Hong Kong University participated in the competition. The participating universities are the universities that won the first prize of the “University Structure Design Competition” in the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and each university can only select a team.
After fierce competition, Chongqing University won the special prize, and 11 universities including Shanghai Jiao Tong University won the first prize. Three students, Guo Wenfang, Lu Haijun and Qiu Zhonghao, from Jiangsu University, played a stable role in the national competition and won the second prize with the 23rd place, which created the best record in the competition.
