On the morning of March 20th, the academic instructor working conference of the new semester was held in room 210 by our faculty. Allthe leaders of our faculty attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Deputy Dean Quan Chen.

Firstly, Dean Ying Luo made an interpretation about academic instructors in the role of students’ growing up combined his own experience. He wanted all academic instructors clearly understand "learning" and"doing", and can give students timely guidance during their study. He also suggested taking the instructing work as duties and responsibilities, and making contributions to promoting the students’ growth. Xiuping Jiang, director of Students’ Affairs, reported the present situations of thecredits and CET’s throughput rate. Afterwards, teacher Xiuchun Wen、Rongzhen Ni on the behalf of academic instructors, shared the dribs and drabs as an academic instructors. All the faculty exchanged their opinions in view of the current difficulties of the work and experience. Deputy Dean Jianfei Lu and deputy director Su Hong, shared their views in management methodof students affairs. Then Deputy Dean Quan Chen analyzed the importance ofacademic instructors and wished them to encourage the students to develop theirpersonality and actively participate in scientific research, technologicalinnovation, subject contests, international communication, and all kinds ofsocial practice activities.

Finally, Zhang Hong, Chairmanof Faculty Affairs Committee, made a conclusion that academic instructor is a leaderfor our students in thinking, which requires instructors have teamconsciousness and patience.
